The Sad Reality Between Successful Books and Complete Failures

Sadly, the difference between a successful book and a failed one is NOT quality. In fact, some of the most life-changing books I've read are complete failures with regard to commercial success.

Even more sad——the most popular books out there (like the ones on the Amazon Best Sellers list) are nothing more than regurgitated drivel.

So what's the difference between a commercially successful book and one that is not?

Simply this: Successful commercial books follow a format where they tell a compelling story in the very beginning of the book.

That's it. I shit you not.

Don't believe me? Just open any successful nonfiction book out there, and you'll find the same thing: a compelling story in the very beginning.

Taking my Antinet Zettelkasten book as an example——which, yes, has been a VERY commercially successful book——especially considering that it makes, and is still making, more money than what New York Times bestselling authors make from their books. (How I've pulled this off is a story for another time.)
